The original mural "Auspicious" was commissioned by John Lewis & Partners and painted by Siyuan to celebrate the start of the Year of the Tiger!

This stunning French navy blue shawl is one of our most popular designs, first made available during the 2021 RHS Chelsea Flower Show as 100% silk. We now offer this design in two fabric variations: silk wool and cotton cashmere & modal, as seen on BBC and ITV News during the creation of a Chinese New Year mural commissioned by John Lewis & Partners Leicester. 

Silk gives the shawl a shining look and a lush feel. Once launched, the silk shawls were sold immediately at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021.

Silk wool is a very popular type of blended fabric. It's an excellent choice for scarves and other accessories due to its soft look and versatility - it can be paired with multiple outfits, whether you want to dress up or down. Wool provides a warming handle, while silk gives strength and lustre to the colours. The material is very smooth and delicate on the skin.

Cotton cashmere & modal is a beautiful, sheer fabric that carries colour very well.  The cashmere adds softness, and cotton and modal provide strength. Modal is a material derived from wood pulp, as an alternative to silk, possessing breathability and the ability to hold colour, causing the scarf to be light, comfortable and chic finish.

A momme is a unit of measurement used only for silk fabrics weight.
