Tom Hanks Unmasked

Tom Hanks encourages to use face masks, BBC

Tom Hanks is known for being the quintessential American.

The good guy.

Remember when that was more often than not our picture of America?

He has a good crisis so to speak.

He was one of the first high profile celebrity victims, along with his wife Rita Wilson, of COVID-19. It helped everyone understand the virus did not discriminate in its victims. They both had different symptoms while struggling with the illness. He did say, “I had bones that felt like they were made out of soda crackers,” he continued “Every time I moved around it felt like something was cracking inside of me.”

He then his best to come out and speak plainly about the importance of wearing face masks.

Whether anyone individual likes it or not, unless you are alone, the well being of your family, friends, neighbours, community and country depends on each of us caring enough for our fellow human beings.

Make a difference. Wear a face mask.
