The Peony Girl silk scarves are beautiful and versatile. They can be worn in your hair, around your neck, or attached to your bag - you choose the size and how to wear it!
This gorgeous 'Blue Meadow' silk scarf is now available for pre-order and will be ready for delivery in July. Limited quantity only.
The scarf was printed with patterns from three of Siyuan Ren's paintings created using the Chinese gongbi technique. As this scarf has elements of many paintings, it's a perfect choice for those of The Peony Girl fans who don't want to decide on their favourite painting - now you can have a combination of them!
A pair of birds comes from the colourful "Spring Concerto", a painting depicting a concert of blooming peonies accompanied by birds, bees, and butterflies. The Peonies come from the Peony Portraits series - the Pink Peony is delicate and sweet, and the Purple Peony is active, dancing, celebrating life.
Pink, purple, and yellow mingle together with the green luscious peony leaves on the shiny, bright blue of the silk and create a beautiful effect.
Composition: 100% silk, weight: 12-momme for small and 16-momme for large. A momme is a unit of measurement used only for silk fabrics weight.
The large scarf was made using 16-momme silk - the highest recommended weight for a scarf. We chose it to create an excellent and durable scarf that is still soft, smooth and very light at the same time. Wrap yourself in its truly luxurious and velvety softness!
The small scarf was made using 12-momme silk - an optimal weight for this size, making the scarf light and versatile. The fabric is both high-quality and soft, which allows you to experiment with different ways of folding, tying and wearing it!
